I would love to help support it… she is phenomenal. I don’t really know how I saw her first video on YouTube but I have been a solid fan ever since.
Love the amazing sound you produce! I too am a trumpeter and am always enjoying new inspiration. Thank you for allowing your inner child to shine!
Warmly
Bud
I contributed to the funding of the film and would like you now when the pre-order is in June or July.
Why is there none of her fine trumpet playing on this trailer? Or her alto playing?
I just discovered you on YouTube last week and became an instant fan! You are a phenomenal singer and musician. I am considering supporting this project and would love to see you perform in person. Any plans to bring a concert to beautiful San Antonio, Texas in the near future?? I have followed jazz since I was a teenager in the 1950’s when I discovered Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond, Chet Baker, Andre Previn, Peter Nero and many other musicians.
Andrea is so talented and so beautiful. It is fantastic that a movie is being made about her. She makes the world a better place, and her music deserves to be showcased in a film.
I’m almost 72. When I was a young teenager my 1st LP records were Bossa Nova or Brazilian Jazz. You Andrea at your tender age have captured the essence of Astrud Gilberto. I love the subtle fluctuations of your voice. You and your women singers are wonderful and precious. Yes, you are all very sexy and pretty.
I have followed jazz since the 1950’s , especially Chet Baker. This amazing girl often takes me back to those days, with a lovely soft sultry sound.
Thank you for your music. I hope you perform in the Boston or the New England area one day soon.

Hi Andrea, a few months ago I was searching the net for jazz and I came across Joan, You, and Rita. What a great sound you all have. The whole band really swings. My wife is not a jazz fan but she loves your band. Thank you so much for your great talent. Can I ask you where you were born? jack.ambridgez@gmail.com P.S. I looked up Joan and I can’t find anything on him, biography. Has he retired?
There was an announcement on a spanish website sometime bacl that she was getting married- I did not read then, and went locking for it a few hours later and it dissapeared. I noticed that she she sometimes wears a wedding band- so when did she get married?
Dear Andrea….I admit I’m late discovering the music you and Joan Chamorro have been creating. It’s magical. I’m an old school guy, also chronologically old at 76, who got seriously into songwriting when I hit 60.
Annie Sellick, one of Nashville’s finest jazz singers has recorded two CD’s
of my songs. I invite you to check them out. Also, I’d love to send you some songs for your consideration…they may not be old but they sound old…ha ha. Please keep making your beautiful music…the world needs it.
Yours Truly, Tom Sturdevant
Hello Andrea
When is the film The Quiet Trumpet available to purchase and will it have English subtitles?
I will be at the Jazzing No 6 and maybe can buy it there??
Recently saw Andrea on YouTube for first time. What a beautiful and gifted soul:) was looking to see if I could find her performance schedule. I live in NY. Thank you
your voice make me think of an angel sound coming from heaven…and I am falling in love with it….
I lived in Europe for over 12 years (France, Belgium, and Germany) and the only good jazz singers were those from the USA or sometimes GB. Having heard Andrea, those days are gone. Not a hint of a foreign accent on American jazz classics. For me, Andrea sings between two versions; one in Nancy Wilson, and two, albeit not known as a jazz singer, Joni James. A great combination of softness, sensuous, and a soulful feel of the music. Hope to see impulse!, release your CDs here in the USA. GREAT LISTENING!
Please advise me when the Andrea Motis video is available via my email
You can buy the DVD at our shop: jazztojazz.com

I discvered Andrea on You Tube a couple of years ago, and I have been following everything she does ever since. Would love to know more about her background. Does she have a book out? This girl was sent from musical heaven.
A bIg fan. Thank you.
Andrea is an amazing musician and singer who i hope to see live ,more than once.I discovered her recently. Thanks to the great Joan, she surrounds herself with brilliant and sympathetic musicians
As a trombone player myself, I love your music and voice, your trumpet playing is superb, all of the band complement each other, again fantastic. Please add me to your list, and let me know when you are playing in the UK.
I found you on youtube and have mad love for your musicality. Your singing and trumpet playing is divine. Please come to San Francisco.
First saw Andrea on YouTube and fell in love with ‘summertime ‘. And not exaggerating, in 15 mins I bought 1 ticket to her concert at the AXA auditorio Barcelona, long weekend in a hotel and returning flights. Got on stage at the end to meet her and Joan and the band. Magic moment
Andrea,
What a sensational trumpet sound!
I just listened to your arrangement of ‘Love for Sale’ and was blown away. Love the jazz violin, too. I am an instant fan!
